This week is Mental Health Awareness Week (10-16 May) where individuals and companies all over the world are invited to focus on and embrace mental health.
This year’s theme is Nature. Our Health & Wellbeing Committee have created a full week of activities for staff to get involved in to promote the Five Ways to Wellbeing and for us all to get talking about mental health.
Our activity programme has been centred around the 5 ways to wellbeing which are:
- Connect with Nature
- Get Active
- Take Notice
- Keep Learning
- Give
Sessions and activities have included wellness walks, finding out about keeping fit, learning new skills, puzzles and games and coffee catch ups.
At Somerset Passenger Solutions we want to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health and create an environment for our staff that is supportive and inclusive – where it is okay to not be okay. We are one team, we stand together and we are proud to support this years campaign.
