Colleagues from across Somerset Passenger Solutions came together to raise money to support people living with cancer.
The team of 8 staff members, from different teams, took part in Macmillan’s 100 Miles in October Challenge. They successfully walked, swam, ran and jogged over 100 miles each over the month to raise money for this fantastic charity.
There are around 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. Macmillan provide physical, financial and emotional support. Due to the pandemic, they have faced a huge drop in income.
Team member Emma Warr said: “I have loved the challenge and getting outside and being more active – its been hard fitting in the time but knowing its for such a good cause was a great motivator. Macmillan provide such an important service and its a charity close to many of our hearts!”
