SPS makes final shortlist for Route One Awards

Somerset Passenger Solutions is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for a Route One Award.

The routeone Awards, the most esteemed awards programme in the UK coach and bus industry, has celebrated excellence across the industry since 2005. The 18th routeone Awards continues to recognise those operators and individuals who have driven innovation and success.

81 finalists have been selected across 15 categories, from exceptional managers and engineers to innovative use of technology and outstanding customer service.

This year’s judges are: Joan Aitken OBE, former Traffic Commissioner for Scotland; David Cattermole, former Managing Director of Galloway Travel; Richard Delahoy, Transport Consultant; Nigel Eggleton, former Managing Director with First Bus South Yorkshire and Midlands; Mark Fowles OBE, former Managing Director of Nottingham City Transport; Graham Russell, former senior executive with FirstGroup; and Norman Thomas, former Engineering Product Manager for Volvo Bus.

SPS have been shortlisted in the Best Use of Technology  category.

Each year, the calibre of entries surpasses expectations, reflecting the dynamic nature of the industry. The finalists announced today represent the very best, and it is an honour to recognise their achievements.”

The winners will be unveiled at a black-tie presentation evening on 13 November 2024, at the Vox, Resorts World, in Birmingham. The evening will bring together over 800 industry professionals to network and celebrate with the industry’s high achievers.
