SPS Goes Green: A Successful Community Litter Pick Event
Last week members of our training and recruitment teams took part in a community litter pick.
They visited 5 different children’s parks in Bridgwater and cleared numerous bags of litter ensuring a cleaner and safer environment for the children to play in.
At SPS, we believe in giving back to the community and preserving the environment for future generations.
This event was not just about cleaning up; it was about making a tangible difference, fostering team spirit, and showcasing our commitment to sustainability.
For our team, this litter pick was more than just picking up rubbish; it was about taking pride in our surroundings and inspiring others to do the same. By helping to clean up our local areas, we contribute to a healthier and safer environment, protect wildlife, and enhance our community. It’s a small action with a significant impact.
By the end of the day, we had collected numerous bags of litter, including plastics, cans, and other waste materials. The area looked significantly cleaner, and the sense of accomplishment was shared by all.
