SPS Spreads Easter Joy by Donating Eggs to Lavender Court Care Home

As part of its ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, Somerset Passenger Solutions is delighted to announce its donation of Easter eggs to the residents of Lavender Court, a local care home in Taunton.

SPS recognises the importance of spreading joy and making a difference in the local community. The donation of Easter eggs aimed to bring a smile to the faces of those residents who may not have been expecting an Easter egg or may not have been able to spend Easter with their family.

“We are thrilled to be able to contribute to the happiness and well-being of the residents at Lavender Court,” said Emma Warr, Communications Manager at SPS. “We hope that our donation of Easter eggs brightened their day and made Easter extra special for them”.

The donation reflects SPS’s dedication to corporate social responsibility and its mission to make a positive impact beyond business endeavours. By engaging in initiatives like this, SPS strives to foster a culture of compassion and generosity within the community it serves.

Lavender Court expressed its gratitude for the donation, emphasising the significance of such gestures.

“We are incredibly grateful to Somerset Passenger Solutions for their generous donation of Easter eggs,” said Lauren Hickey, Activities Lead at Lavender Court. “It’s heartwarming to see local businesses like SPS stepping up to support our residents, especially during holidays when the sense of community and togetherness is so important.”
